The Lok Sabha election is a mega event in India. For the past 44 days, this event has taken place across the entire nation since April 19, 2024. The judgment day has finally arrived to decide who will wear the crown.

Overall, 900 million people out of India's 1.4 billion population were eligible to vote, approximately 70% of the total population.

 As per the exit poll, the BJP and NDA alliance will again take over the government for a further five years.

Election Counting Process

To ensure a smooth and transparent election counting process, the Election Commission has appointed a Returning Officer (RO), an Assistant RO, and one Senior Election Officer at every counting station. Prior to commencing the counting process, each of them has taken an oath to maintain the confidentiality of the count. Only after taking this oath do they begin the counting process.

Counting Start at 8 AM, and by 2 PM, we had a partial picture. By midday, it became clearer who would be the winner and take the crown of 2024 Maha Election of India.- (Bharat)

Many candidates, such as Kangana Ranaut (BJP) versus Vikramaditya Singh (Congress), Supriya Sule (daughter of Mr. Sharad Pawar), and Sunetra Pawar (wife of Mr. Ajit Pawar), will make the results interesting. Many people will definitely be eager to see these outcomes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi contested from the Varanasi seat, while Smriti Irani contested from Amethi. Rahul Gandhi contested from the Rae Bareli constituency, previously held by Ms. Sonia Gandhi.

One of the most interesting battles in Maharashtra is between Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Uddhav Bala Saheb Thackeray Shiv Sena.

The entire country watched closely as the results from Maharashtra came in. This election was significant because of the political dynamics between Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray. The most interesting contest in Mumbai South features Mr. Arvind Sawant, a two-time MP, against Yamini Jadhav from Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena. In Thane, Rajan Vichare faces off against Naresh Mhaske, making these battles particularly intriguing as both Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray hold prestigious seats. The battle between Supriya Sule and Sunetra Pawar will be worth watching, as it promises to be a tough fight.

According to the exit polls, the Mahayuti alliance is expected to win 24 to 28 seats, while the Maha Vikas Aghadi is projected to get 20 to 22 seats. The BJP could become the biggest party in Maharashtra with 18 seats. Uddhav Thackeray is expected to get 12 seats, Congress 9 seats, and both Eknath Shinde and NCP (Sharad Pawar) might get 4 seats each.
