Maharashtra's Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has resigned from his position.

Taking responsibility for the Bharatiya Janata Party's failure in Maharashtra in Lok Sabha, Devendra Fadnavis has resigned on moral grounds.

In Maharashtra, the BJP had to settle for only 9 seats in the Lok Sabha. Taking full responsibility for this, Devendra Fadnavis resigned. He further stated that he would work for the upcoming Assembly elections and requested that his resignation be accepted until then.

But the question is whether his resignation will be accepted by the senior leadership. When Eknath Shinde became the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, it was Fadnavis who announced his name in the press conference and initially refused to take any position himself. However, he took on the role of Deputy CM following the instructions of the senior leadership.
