Maharashtra's Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has resigned from his position.
Taking
responsibility for the Bharatiya Janata Party's failure in Maharashtra in Lok
Sabha, Devendra Fadnavis has resigned on moral grounds.
In
Maharashtra, the BJP had to settle for only 9 seats in the Lok Sabha. Taking
full responsibility for this, Devendra Fadnavis resigned. He further stated
that he would work for the upcoming Assembly elections and requested that his
resignation be accepted until then.
But the
question is whether his resignation will be accepted by the senior leadership.
When Eknath Shinde became the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, it was Fadnavis
who announced his name in the press conference and initially refused to take
any position himself. However, he took on the role of Deputy CM following the
instructions of the senior leadership.
Narendra Modi Resigned- Prime Minister Modi submitted his resignation to President Draupadi Murmu.
Before
taking the oath for the third time, it is a protocol for the current leaders of
the Lok Sabha and other ministers to submit their resignations. Following this
protocol, Narendra Modi has submitted his resignation to President Draupadi
Murmu.
On the
upcoming 7th, there is a meeting of the BJP and NDA where Narendra Modi will
likely be re-elected as the leader of the Parliament. On the 8th, Narendra Modi
may take the oath as Prime Minister once again.
There are
different news reports from the media regarding Nitish Kumar and Chandra Babu
Naidu. It is also being said that Chandra Babu Naidu has presented his demands
to Modi, such as wanting certain ministerial positions and specific cabinet
portfolios. As per sources, Nitish Kumar has reportedly demanded the position
of Lok Sabha Speaker.
Today,
there will be a meeting of the NDA in Delhi in the evening. Alongside, the
INDIA alliance will also hold a meeting in Delhi to strategize and discuss
their plans.
